The Shreemadpurushartha Grantharaj, is a work that Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu wrote out of love for us, His friends. It is as He says, ‘His yadnya’, the offering made with the purpose of doing away with darkness. The light produced by this yadnya will guide us on the path towards the ultimate, the highest principle on the one hand and fetch us happiness and well being on the other. This is the path of bhakti and nishkam karmayog (a way of life where dispassionate deeds are the predominant principle), the path of purushartha (purushartha is utmost effort in the apt direction and at an apt point in time). The work teaches the path of valour, the path of hard work and the path of loving God. It makes aware of the unconditional love of God for us common persons. But above all it wishes to bring us in direct contact with Him, direct, without an agent.
All that Sadguru Shree Aniruddha Bapu has in His heart is love and concern. Through this work, He assures us of the love and support that a bhakta receives at all times. He wants us to shed blind beliefs and all that separates one human from another. Bhakti is unshakable love(for God and fellow beings), selfless service to society, bhakti is for the valiant and bhakti inspires hard work, fortitude and virtue. Bhakti is as much for the erudite as it is for the humble commoner because God, like the sun, shines for the whole world alike. Not only does this work bring in light in our lives, it transforms all darkness into light – it gives answers to all difficult situations because it gives strength to face them, because it strengthens faith in justice, because it teaches to hold on to morality, because purity is indeed the only decisive norm that it recognizes. Written in three volumes – Satyapravesh, Prem pravas and Ananda sadhana – the Shreemadpurushartha Grantharaj is Truth, it is Love and it is Joy.
