Eco – Friendly Ganesh Workshop held at Bandra
The Project
Every year, ‘Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation’ makes Eco-friendly Ganesh idols from paper pulp. These idols are worshipped at the homes of devotees during the Ganapati festival. The activity of making these Eco-friendly Ganesh idols is carried out throughout the year by the volunteers of ‘Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation’. Many people from outside India too prefer to carry these idols during the festival. Paper pulp used in making these idols is made from the pages of the sacred Ramnaam books which are written and deposited by devotees in ‘Aniruddha’s Universal Bank of Ramnaam‘.
Latest Updates
To engage more volunteers for this cause, a workshop on making Eco friendly Ganesh idols was organized at Bandra on May 21, 2017. This event saw a participation of 15 volunteers from across different centres of ‘Shree Aniruddha Upasana Foundation’.
